Gwyneth Paltrow Appears as Taylor Swift on 'Saturday Night Live'

Gwyneth Paltrow and hip-hop star Cee-Lo Green teamed up to give U.S. audiences a late night laugh on comedy sketch show "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, January 15 - by mimicking Taylor Swift and singing country classics.

Paltrow, who recently recorded a cleaned-up version of Green's hit track "F**k You", hosted the show on Saturday night with the singer as the musical guest.
And although the pair didn't share the mic, the pair teamed up for three separate sketches, starting with the actress' opening monologue.

The "Country Strong" star introduced the program by boasting about her country-music knowledge as funnyman Jason Sudeikis appeared as Kenny Rogers for a duet to the singer's classic hit "Islands in the Stream". After Paltrow botched the lyrics, Cee-Lo joined the trio, and sang the lines perfectly.

The pair also appeared in a sketch about a Bar Mitzvah, in which Paltrow, dressed as Swift, put a Jewish twist on the country darling's hit "You Belong With Me" with lyrics about Jewish producer Mel Brooks and shopping at discount retailer Loehmann's. Cee-Lo, playing himself, followed suit and swapped the lyric from his hit "F**k You" for the word "Hebrew".

Paltrow later gave the singer a special introduction to his performance of the track, appearing in a skit as a record executive grappling with how to market the Gnarls Barkley singer's foul-mouthed single. Paltrow gets on the phone with the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), which declares the MC can say "forget you" on television.
